Greg Ferguson
Greg is a former U.S. Navy
fighter pilot who came to Raleigh in 1995 as a consultant to the construction
industry and soon began developing real estate. Since then, he has led and
participated in the development of numerous commercial and residential
projects. As a partner in Mercury Development, his primary role is acquisition,
financing, and sales of new projects. Greg has a bachelor’s degree in Real
Estate and Entrepreneurship from Baylor University and an MBA from Old Dominion
University. He has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the
community by being named in the Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and Business
Leader Magazine’s “Impact 100.” He is the President of the Raleigh Durham
chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization and has been a featured speaker
on Success Today radio show and at the N.C. State Conference on
Entrepreneurship.

Michael L. Jones, CCIM
Michael has been in real estate since 1986 and his
experience covers all aspects of the business. He began in property management
overseeing multifamily properties, eventually managing 1500 apartment units in
the North Carolina area. In 1995, he obtained his broker’s license and began
practicing commercial brokerage with Hagan Properties. He obtained the
Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) accreditation in 1998. He joined
Triton Real Estate in 1998 to become involved with the development of real
estate where his role evolved into operations manager overseeing many of the
projects Triton Real Estate developed. In 2002, he formed Mercury Development
with fellow Triton Real Estate partner Greg Ferguson. Michael’s role with
Mercury Development entails working with engineering teams, submitting plans to
municipalities for approvals, estimating project costs, obtaining bids,
selecting contractors and overseeing all aspects of the development process on
the projects and communities that Mercury develops.
